The National PTA's Reflections program encourages students in pre-K through grade 12 to explore and be involved in the arts. 
2018-2019 theme "Heroes Around Me" 
Clearwood students should reflect on the theme and create original works of art in the categories of dance choreography, film production, music composition, literature, photography, and visual arts.  Entry forms are in the library.

My Louisiana Essay Contest:  
 
Due:   November 14th
"An Ideal Day in Louisiana"
 
Students are asked to write an essay of less than 1000 words on the theme "Louisiana Life".  Entries should be typed or handwritten on 1 side of the paper.

Essay Rules 
 
 
 
Safety Drawing Program:                             
 
Due  September 28th
 
"Outdoor Safety"
 
Students are encouraged to create an original drawing about the the theme, "Outdoor Safety". 
Art work cannot exceed 18"x12" (including a mat).  
Mediums include pencil, crayon, colored pencil and markers.  Please no stencils, magazine clippings, or machine cutouts.
